PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Azotos (Ashdod). Mid 5th century-333 BC. AR Drachm (13mm, 3.23 g, 5h). Oriental head, resembling the helmeted head of Athena, right / Janiform female and male heads in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. Gitler & Tal II.13D (similar types, but with Aramaic letters and Udjat eye on reverse). Near VF, toned, test cuts, some porosity. Unpublished, apparently unique.
