Struck circa 862-869. + EΛDMVИD REX A(?), cross pattée; pellets in angles / + BΛEΓHELM MOT, cross pattée; pellets in angles. Naismith E61.3p corr. (this coin, obv. legend); SCBI 26 (East Anglia), 1072 var. (legends); BMC 43–5 var. (same); North 456; SCBC 955. Good VF, lightly toned, minor edge loss.

Although Naismith does not note it, there is a letter at the end of the obverse legend, but is partially obscured by a weak strike in that area.
