KYRENAICA, Kyrene. c. 500-480 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 8mm, 1.72 g 9). Silphium fruit (seed pod?) with point downwards. Rev. Silphium fruit (seed pod?) with point downwards; all within incuse square. BMC 22. Very rare. An attractive, clear coin. Good very fine.
