From the Michael Joffre Collection, purchased from Steve Ford.

In 1979, Elias was aware of only one specimen of this variety, described by Poey d’Avant in 1860, but subsequently absent from the Cabinet des Médailles. The present coin clarifies the legends for this very rare sub-variety.
