INDIA, Gupta Empire. First Dynasty. Chandragupta II Vikramaditya. Circa AD 380-413. AV Dinar (21mm, 7.80 g, 12h). Archer type (Class II, Variety b). Chandragupta standing left, holding arrow and bow at top; behind to left, Garuda standard / Lakshmi seated facing on lotus, holding diadem and lotus; tamgha to left. BKB 81–4; cf. BMC Guptas 71–4 and 83–5 (for type); Altekar Class II, Variety E; cf. Bayana 6 (same). EF, lightly toned, slight double strike on reverse.
