SASANIAN KINGS. Pērōz (Fīrūz) I. AD 457/9-484. AV Light Dinar (19mm, 3.32 g, 3h). WH (Veh-Ardaxšīr) mint. Struck circa AD 477-484. Blundered legend, bust right, wearing crown with two wings, frontal crescent, and korymbos set on crescent, ribbon over each shoulder / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; blundered legend to left, wh (mint signature) in Pahlavi to right. SNS type IIIb/1c, A56; Göbl type III/1; Mochiri 738; Paruck 345; Saeedi AV80; Sunrise 950. VF, lightly toned, a few edge flaws.
