EGYPT, Alexandria. Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Drachm (35mm, 21.49 g, 12h). Dated RY 16 (AD 112/3). AYT TPAIAN CEB ΓERM ∆AKIK, laureate bust right, slight drapery / EIPHNH KAI OM ONOIA, Eirene, draped and wearing wreath of grain, holding two grain ears in her left hand, standing right and clasping right hands with Homonoia, standing left, draped and crowned, cradling double cornucopia with her left arm; L Iς (date) between. Köln 603-4 var. (arrangment of rev. legend); Dattari (Savio) 7009; K&G 27.445; Emmett 450.16. Near EF, brick red patina with green highlights. Exceptional, and probably one of the finest known Trajan drachms.
