VICTORIA EMPRESS, crowned bust left; left stroke of V in relief / HALF/RUPEE/–/INDIA/1892 in five lines; all within ornate floral border; incuse B in upper floral ornament. UIC 6.213 corr. (listed as Calcutta mint – this coin referenced); Pridmore, p. 193, note †; Friedberg –. Superb EF, proof-like fields, evidence of die polishing, a few minor hairlines. An attractive early restrike.
