Dated 23 Tekemt EE 1923 (2 November AD 1930). “The First Haile Selassie” in Amharic, crowned and mantled bust left; below, “Tekemt 23, 1923” / “Ethiopia shall stretch forth her hands to God (Psalm 68:32)” in Amharic, monogram and star of the trinity within trilobe; two stars above, garland below. Gill S9. EF, lustrous, hairlines.
