PHOENICIA, Tyre. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ Dichalkon (29mm, 18.45 g, 11h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Hexastyle temple, containing Tyche-Astarte standing facing, with hand on trophy and being crowned by Victory on column to right; in exergue, lighted altar between palm tree and murex shell. Rouvier 2363; cf. AUB 225; cf. BMC 393. Good VF, dark green-brown patina, flan flaw on the reverse.
