Diademed and bearded head right / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; monogram left, DPR (date) right, pellet between legs. SNG Spaer -; Newell, LSM -; Houghton -. Good VF, scuff on neck, chip on edge. Unpublished and unique. ($2500)

This coin is from the first issue of the dated Phoenician eagle series at Ake. The control AP was replaced the following year, and the convention of a mintmark was added (cf. Newell, LSM 2ff).
