EGYPT, Alexandria. Lucius Verus. 161-169 AD. Æ Drachm (20.49 gm). Dated year 3 (162/3 AD). L AURHLIO OUHPOC CEB, bare-headed bust right, draped and cuirassed, aegis on front of cuirass / MONHTA, Moneta standing left, holding scales and abacus; behind her, a structure with square base and tall column, standing figure on column, money bags and animal on base; LG (date) left. Cf. Köln 2142 (for reverse); cf. Dattari 3732; Milne -. Near VF, cleaned, but possibly the best preserved specimen of this rare type. ($300)

The specimens in BMC and Dattari are poorly preserved, and the details are not clear. The Köln specimen has a different obverse bust type.
