GALBA. 68-69 AD. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.27 gm). Spanish mint (Tarraco?). Struck circa July 68-15 January 69 AD. Laureate head right, globe at point of bust / Roma advancing right, holding transverse spear and Victory holding wreath and palm. RIC I 28; H. Sutherland, "Supplementum Galbianum," Quaderni Ticinesi 1984, pg. 175 and Tav. I, 13 (same obverse die); RSC 209. Toned Fine, hairline flan crack. Rare.
