Charioteer driving galloping quadriga left, holding kentron in right hand, reins in left; Nike flying right above, crowning charioteer, [E]VMHNOV (signature) in exergue / SVPAKOSION, head of Arethusa left, surrounded by four swimming dolphins; EVMHN-OV (signature) behind bust. Tudeer 23 (V9/R15); SNG ANS 258 (same dies); SNG Lloyd 1367 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 666 (same dies); Jameson 792 (same dies). Good VF, smooth problem free flan. ($3000)

On these dies the master engraver has signed his name in full, and the high action of the horses — a feature of Eumenos' work — is especially conspicuous.
