SACRA SINATUS, veiled and draped personification of the (female) Roman Senate right / MALLO COLONIA, turreted figure of Tyche seated left, flanked by two standards marked SC; two river gods below, all within wreath. Although senatus in Latin is a masculine noun, its Greek equivalent, bolh, is feminine. Moreover, the long e has been changed to an i, indicating the writer of the legend was a Greek who didn't know his Latin.
