Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla who raises her hand to her head, griffin on neck guard; [F] above forehead / Bull butting right; fish in exergue. Noe, Thurian B2 (same dies); SNG ANS 957 (same dies); HN Italy 1781. Good VF, toned, some small spots of porosity, small chip on edge. A masterpiece of engraving. ($2000)
