VANDALS. Municipal Coinage of Carthage. Circa 480-523 AD. Æ 42 Nummi (9.79 gm). Carthage standing facing, holding grain ears, within laurel wreath / NXLII within laurel wreath. MIB I 17a; MEC 1, 34; BMC Vandals pg. 6, 3. Good VF, dark green patina, slightly weak strike on the bottom. A finer example than normally encountered. ($300)
