HELLENISTIC ERA. Persia or Baktria. Hemitite Stamp Seal. Circa 3rd-2nd century BC. Triface seal, length 17mm. Black hemitite, with three intaglios on the faces: a crouching lion, a zebu bull, and a winged griffin. Pierced horizontally for wearing. Good condition, somewhat worn. Crude but vigorous style.
