KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.85 gm, 11h). Ainos mint. Struck circa 280-250 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / BASILEWS LUSIMACO[U], Athena seated left, holding Nike in extended right hand, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; bucranium to outer left, enthroned cult statue to inner left. Müller -; SNG Berry 405 (same obverse die); cf. Meydancikkale 2690-2691. EF, toned. Well centered and boldly struck. Very rare mint. ($2000)
