Laureate head of Apollo right, wearing hair rolled back and in loose locks over forehead; flower or rosette before ear; tortoise behind / MVSA to left, Q. POMPONI to right, Terpischore, the Muse of Dancing, standing right, wearing long flowing tunic and peplum, holding lyre and plectrum at her side. Crawford 410/7a; Sydenham 819; Kestner 3381; BMCRR Rome 3619; CNR Pomponia 31/6 (this coin); Pomponia 18a. Good VF, obverse banker's mark on neck, lightly toned. ($750)
