ANTONINVS AVG PI-VS P P TR P COS III, laureate head right / TIBERIS, S C in exergue, river-god Tiber, draped about waist, reclining left on rock outcropping from which water flows beneath him, resting right hand on ship's poop and cradling reed in left arm. RIC III 6437; Strack 863d; Banti 416; BMCRE 1313 note; Cohen 820. Good VF, mottled blue-green and brown patina with flecks of red, hairline flan crack. ($2000)
