Anonymous. Circa 240-225 BC. Æ Aes Grave As (259.70 gm, 12h). Rome mint. Head of bearded Janus on raised disk / Prow of galley right; I above, all on a raised disk. Thurlow & Vecchi 51; Haeberlin pl. 12-13; Crawford 35/1; Kestner 111. EF for type, earthen patina, dark green with red-brown highlights, small casting flaw above the prow.
