ATTICA, Athens. Circa 168/5-50 BC. AR New Style Tetradrachm (16.76 g, 1h). Struck circa 106/5 BC. Head of Athena right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with a palmette and griffin on the bowl / A-QE, owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; winged Tyche with amphora to right, B on amphora, AP below, magistrates HRA-KLEI/DHS, EUK/LHS, DIONU/SOG; all within wreath. Cf. Thompson 778b (unlisted dies). Good VF, toned. ($500)
