Diademed head right / BASILEWS ARIARAQOU EUSEBOUS, Athena Nikephoros standing left; monograms to outer left, inner left, and outer right; AL (date) in exergue. Simonetta 2 var. (Ariarathes IV; year 30; same obv. die as plate coin); SNG Copenhagen -; BMC -; SNG von Aulock 6263 var. (same; same obv. die). Good VF, toned, slight surface roughness. A splendid Hellenistic portrait. Very rare issue, unpublished for regnal year 31. ($5000)
