IVLIA AVGVSTA, draped bust of Domna right / AETERNIT IMPERI, confronted busts of Septimius Severus, laureate and cuirassed right, and Caracalla, laureate, draped and cuirassed left. RIC IV 539b var. (Septimius also draped); BMCRE 1 and 2 var. (bust types on reverse); RSC 2a and 2b var. (same). EF, short flan crack. Unpublished variety of a rare type. ($1500)

The published specimens all show Septimius and Caracalla as sharing the same bust type.
