VIRTVS CARAVSI AVG, raureate, helmeted, and cuirassed bust left, holding spear over right shoulder, shield on left arm / SALVS AVG, Salus standing left, holding patera in extended right hand, from which she feeds snake rising from altar to left, and sceptre in left hand; S. Unpublished, but cf. RIC V 314/396 for obv./rev. types from the same issue. Good VF, partial flat strike, minor roughness. Very rare. ($500)
