A taler of Volkmar Wolfgang of Hohnstein, dated [15]70, countermarked on obverse with two punches: horseman right with monogram below in dotted circle (Type I) and date in plain rectangle (Type III). Coin: Davenport 9313; Countermarks: Efimki 1149 (this coin); Kaim I p. 126-129; KM -. Coin VF, c/ms good VF, toned. The only known Hohnstein Taler with yefimok countermarks. ($1500)
