BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 450-440 BC. AR Stater (11.91 g). Boeotian shield / Nude Herakles kneeling right, stringing bow; club to right; all within square incuse. BCD Boiotia 416 var. (club to left); Head, Boeotia p. 31 = BMC 32, pl. XII, 3 (same dies); Myron Hoard pl. A, 27 (same dies). Near VF, light gray tone, die break on obverse, minor porosity on reverse. Very rare.
