BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Heliokles II. Circa 110-100 BC. Æ Square Unit (7.88 g, 12h). Diademed and draped bust right / Elephant standing left, holding wreath in upraised trunk; in exergue. Cf. Bopearachchi Série 7f; cf. Bopearachchi & Rahman 470; cf. SNG ANS 1153-1154 (all examples with elephant’s trunk lowered). Good VF, green patina, smoothed. An apparently unpublished reverse for this ruler.
