Alexius III, Angelus-Comnenus. 1195-1203. AV Hyperpyron (4.24 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Christ standing facing on low daïs, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels / Alexius, wearing chlamys and short beard, and holding akakia, and St. Constantine I, crowned and nimbate and wearing loros, standing facing, holding patriarchal cross between them.
