YORK. Edward IV. First reign, 1461-1470. AR Groat (3.81 g, 2h). Heavy coinage. London mint; mm: rose. Struck 1461-1464. Crowned facing bust in tressure of arches; quatrefoils flanking neck, trefoil on breast / Long cross; trefoils in quarters, eye in inner legend. Blunt & Whitton Type III; North 1532; SCBC 1974. Good VF, toned, small metal flaw on face.
