BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 425-395 BC. AR Stater (12.12 g). Later style. Boeotian shield / Bearded head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath; Q-E across lower field; all within concave incuse. BCD Boiotia 442-3; Head, Boeotia -; Myron pl. B, 6; SNG Copenhagen 284. Good VF, dark iridescent toning around devices.
