Flaccilla’s siliquae are among the rarest. The BM is the only major museum collection with an example, and there are none in the ANS. Although one was present in the collection of Sir Arthur Evans (Ars Classica XVII, lot 1932), there were none in the Mazzini, Trau, Bement, Jameson, Guerin, Heynen, or Echt collections.
