1) THRACE, Hadrianopolis. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ Triassarion (26mm, 8.38 g, 7h). AY KAIΛ AY KOMOΔOC, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / River-god Tonzus reclining left, holding reed and resting elbow on urn from which water flows. Jurukova, Hadrianopolis 133 var. (V70/R133; unrecorded die pair); RPC IV.1 10457 var. (obv. legend); Varbanov 3291 var. (same). Earthen green patina, roughness. Good Fine. Rare variety.

2) THRACE, Hadrianopolis. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Tetrassarion (26.5mm, 11.84 g, 7h). Laureate head right / Tyche seated left on rock, wearing kalathus, holding grain ears; at her feet, river-god Tonzus swimming right. Jurukova, Hadrianopolis 212 (V123/R211); Varbanov 3385. Brown patina, roughness. Good Fine. Very rare, only one in CoinArchives.

3) THRACE, Hadrianopolis. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Tetrassarion (26mm, 10.59 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / River-god Tonzus reclining left, holding reed and resting elbow on urn from which water flows. Jurukova, Hadrianopolis 469 var. (V231/R455; unrecorded die pair); RPC VII.2 734; Varbanov 3835. Brown and green patina, rough reverse. Near VF.
