COELESYRIA, Heliopolis. Macrinus. AD 217-218. BI Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 14.50 g, 12h). Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; between legs, lion advancing right. Prieur 1201. Toned with underlying luster, slight die shift on reverse, trace deposits, obverse off center. Good VF. Extremely rare, only five noted by Prieur, and three in CoinArchives, including this coin.
