POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (85 mm tall by 155 mm wide). A squat footed Blackware kantharos with bulbous body, short, wide neck and stylized handles at both sides. Internal engraving of rosette pattern present, surrounded by hatchmark pattern of 4 rows. Some damage on left handle present, with restoration. Loss of black glaze at points as well. |
