Danubian mystery plaque. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. First line: stars and crescents. Second line: Nemesis standing right between confronted busts of Sol and Luna; to left, altar with three flames; to right, rooster. Third line: deity holding folds of skirts, flanked by two horsemen trampling prone figures; rooster to left; to right, figure standing left, raising hand. Fourth line: figure standing right, sacrificing animal hung from tree; to left, tripod and urn below table; to right, lion standing left. VF, a well preserved example.
