INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kanishka I. Circa AD 127/8-152. Æ Pendant (13mm, 1.31 g, 12h). Kanishka standing left, wearing conical crown with nimbus, holding trident and sacrificing at altar / Siva standing facing, cross-legged, holding diadem and trident; behind, the bull Nandi standing left. Cf. MK 529 (for prototype). Near VF, looped for suspension.


This type is copied from a quarter dinar of Kanishka I with a rare depiction of Siva cross-legged.
