THESSALY, Pharkadon. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (15mm, 2.67 g, 9h). The hero Thessalos, nude but for petasos and chlamys, holding band around the head of a forepart of bull charging right / Φ–A–PK (partially retrograde), forepart of horse right; all within shallow incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 604. VF, lightly toned, a few scratches in obverse field, reverse double struck.
