KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 16.91 g, 10h). Damaskos mint. Struck under Menon or Menes, circa 330-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, forepart of ram right; three pellets in vertical line above lower strut of throne, ΔA below. Price 3203b var. (single pellet below throne). VF, toned, flan flaw on obverse, light graffiti in field on reverse.
