CRETE, Gortyna. Circa 330-270 BC. AR Stater (23mm, 11.26 g, 6h). Europa seated right in tree, propping head on hand / Bull standing right, head reverted. Cf. Svoronos, Numismatique 25/22 (for obv./rev. dies); Le Rider, Crétoises p. 26, 198, pl. V, 5 (this coin); SNG Copenhagen 441. Good Fine, toned, porosity, particularly on the obverse.
