THESSALY, Pelinna. Circa 425-350 BC. Æ Chalkous (15mm, 2.77 g, 3h). Warrior on horseback riding left, wearing billowing chlamys and striking at fallen enemy to lower left / Warrior left, holding shield and preparing to hurl spear. Cf. Rogers 427 (ethnic); cf. BCD Thessaly II 520 (same); HGC 4, 284. VF, green patina. The orientation and spelling of the ethnic is uncertain given the strike and positioning of the dies upon the flan.
