ANCIENT COINS USED IN INDIA & INDIAN IMITATIONS. Uncertain Romano-Sasanian. Circa 3rd-4th centuries AD. AV “Half Dinar” (21mm, 4.68 g, 6h). Indian imitation. OOOVO OODOD (Os quadrate), draped bust left, wearing schematic coiffure or headdress / OOODOD DOD (Os quadrate), fire altar with ribbons. Cf. SNS III pl. 146, C1-2 (for rev.); otherwise, unpublished in the standard references. Fine, two holes for suspension plugged.
