Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (23mm, 6.67 g, 4h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; incuse ROMA in raised tablet below. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; RSC 23. Good VF, toned, a few light hairlines, Janus slightly double struck.
