Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear in right hand, bow in left; two pellets behind beard / Patterned incuse punch. Carradice Type IIIa (pl. XI, 14); Meadows, Administration 322 var. (no pellets); BMC Arabia pl. XXV, 19. Good VF, toned, minor roughness. Rare early Type III issue.
