KINGS of PARTHIA. Orodes II. Circa 57-38 BC. AR Drachm (20mm, 3.57 g, 1h). Margiane mint. Diademed bust; star to left, to right, crescent above star / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; Π below bow; anchor symbol behind throne. Cf. Sellwood Type 48 (for type; control unlisted); Sunrise –; cf. Shore 255 (for rev. type); PDC –. Near VF, toned, hint of roughness. Apparently unique, none in the PDC database and the only example on CoinArchives.
