Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust left, holding globe in right hand / Helmeted soldier, holding spear, advancing right, head turned to left, leading by the hand a small, bareheaded figure from a hut beneath a tree, the spear points downward between the soldier’s legs; SMN[?]. RIC VIII 69; LRBC 2290. Fine, dark green-brown patina, reddish earthen encrustation, cut into a cog shape with a central raised insert. Interesting contemporary use of a Follis.
