SICILY, Syracuse. Dionysios I. 405-367 BC. Æ Tetras (12mm, 1.92 g). Struck circa 400 BC. Head of nymph facing slightly left, wearing necklace / Octopus. CNS II 29; SNG ANS 385. Good VF, red-brown patina.
Note the similarity of the facing head on this coin to that of Apollo engraved by Herakleidas at Katane.
