AUGUSTUS. 27 BC-14 AD. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.80 g). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck circa 8 BC. Laureate head right / Caius Caesar on horseback right, holding sword, shield, and reins; legionary eagle between two standards behind. RIC I 199; BMCRE 500; RSC 40. Good VF, poor strike, underlying luster.
