NERO CAESAR • AVGVSTVS, laureate head right / ROMA in exergue, Roma, helmeted and draped, seated left on cuirass, right foot set on helmet, holding Victory in right hand and resting left on parazonium at side; greave to right. RIC I 55 var. (shields to right); WCN 59; RSC 258; BMCRE 83-5 var. (same); BN 224. Deep iridescent tone, a couple of scratches under tone. EF. Struck with dies of artistic merit.
